Turn-Around Time, Pricing, Conditions and Restrictions

We'll beat any competitor's price in Texas in a 3-6 hour same night turn-around!  (see conditions and restrictions)    Our service is 7 days a week!     PhD mycologist is reading your samples !    And your testing could come with an interpretation report ! (see a sample)


Turn-around time

For Spore trap air cassettes, Direct exam samples:

Turn-around time for mold testing is usually 3-6 hours same night in most cases (i.e. BioIdea will report to you at night around 8:00 -10:30 pm, please call Jay if you are submitting rush samples.

For Water samples:
Standard 24-28 hours.

For culture plate culturable molds:
Standard 5-7 days.
Please drop your samples @ the Drop Box at 615 Mosman Ct., Houston, TX 77094 (on I-10 and Baker Rd between Barker-Cypress and Fry Rd, close to the small post office).

Pricing

The testing price for a 3-6 hour same night turn-around will be roughly competitors' 24 hour turn-around prices, i.e. slashed off 3/4 of their prices.  In case of a turn-around  delayed to next day at night, our price will be $5 less a sample from our standard price (non-promotional) 3-6 hour same night turn-around price.

Some Conditions and Restrictions Apply for the Pricing:

1) This pricing applies to all testing except:  mold species determination, i.e. M34, M35, M36, M37 and M39 due to more sophisticated procedures are needed;  Mold species determination, i.e. M34, M35, M36, M37 and M39,

 

2) Home-owners will be charge a flat fee a sample.

2) Exception also extends to customers (i.e. home-owners) who want an interpretational report  yet has fewer than 4 samples.

       > With only 1-3 smaple submitted, the interpretation report will be charged an additional fee equivalent to price of a sample;
      > With 4 samples or more are submitted, then a request for interpretational report doesn't have extra charge.

     
3) Turn-Around-Time for species determination may be longer than 5-7 days, due to some species are poorly sporulated, yet it may need other procedures, such as other medium, different temperature treatment, etc.

4) Sampling equipment rental is limited to 24 hr, $50 rental is for the High-volume pump only; $20 rental for Anderson Impactor. BioIdea may deny equipment rental in busy seasons. An agreement form is to be signed by the rentee, and rentee must agree to the term that expenses any damage incurred must be paid for by the rentee.
